Once in a while, I have a little outburst with my NLP hat on. I do love it when that happens! NLP is SUCH fun, and simple things like the NLP reframe can be taken to SUCH extremes - and then it's even more fun. Now, to business. There is something more scary than public speaking. And that's ... singing in public!

I have often played with the idea of getting people up to sing at an ET conference just to prove there *is* something much more terrifying than public speaking :-)

With the supermike I have for hypnotic inductions turned to full force so that the massive speakers can *really* pick up EVERY LITTLE DETAIL with excruciating clarity and high energy volume ... :-))))))))

Yes I and I LOVE it and give it a big electric whip with a pink bow!

Oh yes, singing.
Some stuff just for anyone's consideration.
1. Everyone has a right to sing. Courtesy of the Creative Order.
2. Everyone has a right to sing BADLY. As above.
3. Anyone who lets this right be taken away by the disapproval of others needs to do some EmoTrance or court the magical sadist within, that also works a treat.
4. Singing and criticising one's own singing are SEQUENTIAL activities. Try and do them in parallel and both will fail to please or reach their full potential and energy of expression.
5. A completely untrained human being will, in the hands of a well trained torturer, be able to produce a huge array of notes and sounds that span many octaves in range and contain all vocal flavours, tricks and techniques known and unknown both - spontaneously, without any previous practice and quite perfectly.
6. What they do on X-factor (American Idol) has precisely as much to do with true human singing as what they wear, how they act and how they look has to do with being a true human being.
7. Making sounds that travel across space and touch as well as change reality is *fun*. It's also primal magic. So don't criticise my singing!
